Mo Salah reveals major ambition after winning BBC African FOTY

After winning his second successive BBC African Player of the Year award, Mohamed Salah reveals that his biggest ambition now is to win silverware with Liverpool as the Reds target the Premier League title.

After 16 games in the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, Liverpool are top of the table and have Mohamed Salah perched at the top of the goalscoring charts level with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on 10 goals.

The Egyptian flyer has had an incredible year but is now targeting silverware with Liverpool after winning just about every individual accolade there is over the last 18 months.

After being handed the award, Salah was interviewed about what his next ambition is, saying: “It’s a great feeling.

I would also like to win it next year! It’s great feeling to win the award two years in a row. I’m happy to win it.

“I want to win something with the club. Everyone is excited. I try to push myself every day to help the team win something. This season, everyone wants to win something. We will carry on.”
