Chelsea and Liverpool profit further from Solanke and Coutinho deals
A sell-on clause in the contract of Dominic Solanke will gift Chelsea a percentage of his £19million transfer fee after the striker joined Bournemouth from Liverpool.
The English forward joined the Reds in 2017 after his contract at Stamford Bridge expired. A compensation fee of £3million was eventually agreed.
Chelsea are now set to profit from Solanke’s move to the Cherries, though the actual amount is unlikely to be particularly high, in transfer terms at least.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp’s side could be on the brink of earning even more from the sale of Philippe Coutinho, who joined Barcelona last January.
According to the Echo, the Reds have already made a cool £106million from the Brazilian’s transfer to the Spanish giants, but will earn another £17.6million once the 26-year-old notches 100 games for his current club.
Liverpool will also make an additional £4.4million for each of the first two Champions Leagues that the playmaker qualifies for with Barcelona.
Coutinho has only played 45 games for the Catalan club since his transfer, sparking rumours that he won’t be at the Camp Nou for much longer.
