Liverpool receive tremendous injury boost ahead of Leicester encounter
Liverpool host Leicester City in the Premier League this evening and will welcome Virgil van Dijk back after the Dutchman missed a few training sessions with illness.
The Reds can take advantage of a Manchester City slip up and go seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table after Newcastle United were inspired to a 2-1 win over the champions.
Jurgen Klopp provided an update on van Dijk and a few other players during his pre-Leicester press conference on Tuesday.

Klopp said: “Virg was a little bit ill, but he trained yesterday and will train today, so we will see.
“Dejan [Lovren] is fine, Gini trained [and] Fabinho will train today.
“Trent is getting closer and closer and it all looks very positive, but he will not be ready for tomorrow.”
A win over Leicester City will take Liverpool to 63 points with Manchester City languishing on 56 after their costly slip-up on Tyneside.
