Arjen Robben To Miss Out On Liverpool Trip
The Dutch winger has been out since November.
Bayern Munich will be without Arjen Robben when they visit Anfield on Tuesday, as the winger as been out since November with a thigh injury. Kingsley Coman will likely start for the German giants against Liverpool.
Robben suffered a thigh injury back in November, and the injury rehab has been hampered by issues with his sciatic nerve in the same leg. The 35-year-old winger spoke with Bild about how frustrating the injury has been.
“t’s very, very frustrating. We’ve tried everything, but for now it doesn’t work.” Robben said. “Unfortunately, that is the problem: we don’t know what it is. It’s really difficult. Twice I’ve almost returned to the team, and again there was a relapse.”
The Dutch legend has a huge track record with injuries. He’s no doubt an all time great on the field, but one has to wonder just how good he would’ve been had he not dealt with all the injuries he’s had to deal with.
