Jurgen Klopp provides injury update on key man ahead of Manchester United test
Jurgen Klopp spoke to the media ahead of Liverpool’s game at Anfield against Bayern Munich on Tuesday and said that Dejan Lovren is likely to miss out on the test against Manchester United at the weekend.
The Croatian is struggling with a hamstring injury that he picked up in December and even flew back to his home country for specialist treatment.
Lovren missed the 0-0 draw with Bayern and while Klopp made it seem like he was close to returning, it appears as though the 29-year-old will still be out for a little while at the very least.

“There was not a real doubt, to be honest,” Klopp said.
“It was not mind games but Dejan had no chance for the game today actually, I don’t think he even has a chance for the next game. He will take his time.
“It was clear Fabinho and Joel have to play tonight, so we trained it – we tried everything – and now hopefully the boys are ready.”
