Liverpool midfield target makes decision on his future ahead of summer transfer window

Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot is reportedly convinced that he will move to Barcelona in the summer.

The Frenchman hasn’t played a game for Paris Saint-Germain for two months after the Ligue 1 outfit banned him from the matchday dressing room in retaliation to his refusal to sign a contract extension.

There is almost zero chance that he will be reintegrated into the PSG setup before the end of the season with all parties clear on the fact that he is leaving in the summer.

Le Parisien claims that while he is yet to sign a contract with the La Liga champions, Rabiot is convinced that he will sign for Barcelona at the end of the season.

His wage and signing on bonus have been negotiated and all that remains is for the player to confirm he still wants to move to Catalonia and things can be processed and then made official.

For Liverpool and Spurs, this will come as a blow ahead of the summer transfer window but knowing how well the Reds have found alternatives in recent years, missing out on Rabiot could be a blessing if it leads to a better target being identified.
