Manchester United suffer massive double injury blow ahead of Liverpool test
Manchester United will be without Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard for their Premier League encounter with Liverpool.
The duo suffered muscle injuries during United’s 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer played down the severity of their injuries, he has now told the press they will be out for between two to three weeks.
“I think they will be out for two to three weeks looking at it now,” Solskjaer said in his press conference ahead of the FA Cup fifth-round tie with Chelsea.

Both United stars are doubts to face Liverpool and this will come as a boost for the Reds as a win at Old Trafford will be hugely influential in the title race.
For Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp is relieved in that he is beginning to have a few more players return from injuries of their own with Trent Alexander-Arnold having made an appearance late on against Bournemouth.
The next month will be huge for Liverpool and if Klopp and the players can show their class, the business end of the season will be massively exciting.
