Ian Wright queries midfielder’s absence: “What’s happened to Shaqiri?”
Ian Wright thinks there could be a problem behind the scenes with Xherdan Shaqiri, according to The Mirror.
The Swiss international hasn’t featured for Liverpool in their previous four games, despite starting the season strongly.
And Wright, who was speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live about Liverpool, suspects something’s amiss.

“What’s happened to Shaqiri? What’s happening?” he said.
“You say that [his form has dipped], who did he [Klopp] bring on in front of him [against Fulham ]? I have seen he has brought other players on in front of Shaqiri.
“We have seen that Shaqiri has made a difference earlier on in the season. You say his form has dropped, but it seems to me like something has happened.”
Shaqiri appears to have fallen behind Divock Origi and Adam Lallana in the pecking order at Liverpool, despite the fact that both players are likely to leave Anfield in the summer.
