Liverpool prepared to meet £43million release clause for La Liga striker

Liverpool are prepared to meet the release clause of Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gómez, according to The Guardian.
The 22-year-old forward is the subject of much transfer speculation after scoring 13 La Liga goals this season, making it a total of 30 in two seasons for the Balaidos.
Gómez, who has been dubbed, the “next Luis Suarez”, is a Uruguay international with a penchant for poaching a goal in the box.

The Guardian claim that Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham are all prepared to meet his £43million release clause this summer.
Celta Vigo may be forced to let him go for less if they’re relegated at the end of the season, but it’s likely they’ll survive the drop.
