Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly discussed a potential move for Liverpool midfielder James Milner this summer, according to reports in France. Thomas Tuchel’s side retained the Ligue 1 title this season but suffered another disappointing campaign in the Champions League as they were dumped out at the last-16 stage by Manchester United. The French champions are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer and are hoping to complete a deal with Napoli to sign Allan. PSG are also expected to announce the signing of Ander Herrera on a free transfer this summer after the Spaniard failed to agree a new contract with United. ADVERTISING Milner has played a key role in Jurgen Klopp’s side this season (Getty Images) But according to Le Parisien, PSG are open to signing a third central midfielder and have spoken internally about signing Milner from Liverpool. Milner’s current contract with Liverpool is due to expire next year and the midfielder has not yet agreed an extension with the club.
