Liverpool join race for £18million-rated Ligue 1 midfielder

Liverpool are interested in signing Rennes midfielder Benjamin Bourigeaud in the summer transfer window, according to Spanish publication Estadio Deportivo, cited by The Express.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to strengthen this summer and is willing to invest in the right players for his squad.
However, the German will face competition from a host of clubs chasing Bourigeaud’s signature, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham.

The 25-year-old is also attracting attention from Serie A, with Juventus, Napoli, Roma, AC Milan and Inter Milan all tracking him as well.
Sevilla have already bid £11million for the French midfielder, though that approach was rejected straight away.
Rennes are confident they can secure at least £18million for the free-kick specialist, who bagged 6 goals and 5 assists for the Ligue 1 side last season.
