Rumour Mongering: Reds Interested in Paris FC Striker

Liverpool are apparently interested in signing Silas Wamangituka from Paris FC
Silas Wamangituka has been making a name for himself since he signed with Ligue 2 side Paris FC at the beginning of the 2018/2019 season. He has scored 11 goals—and assisted in 2 more—in 32 games for the club this season, and every single one is worth watching for his skill and intelligence in reading the game.
Wamangituka began his career at Olympic Matete FC in Kinshasa, DR Congo and was originally signed with Paris FC on a trial basis, where the club president waited all of 10 days before giving him a professional contract because he was just so good.
“We had originally taken him on trial so he could play for the reserves, but after 10 days we went to the club president and told him we had to sign him, because he has a lot of talent and the potential go very far,” Paris FC head coach Stephane Gilli said.
”He has worked hard and made the most of his chances when we had problems offensively and our other options were not performing well.”
Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Wamangituka over the past few months, and per The Independent, the Reds have recently put in a bid for the striker. Liverpool will be competing against Toulouse, Galatasaray, Club Brugge, Marseille, and Benfica to land the 19-year-old player.
It’s unclear how real these rumours are, but he would definitely make an exciting addition to Liverpool’s attack.
