£10million-rated Reds defender tracked by Premier League sides

Nathaniel Clyne is the subject of increasing transfer speculation after the right-back returned to training with Liverpool, according to the Express.

The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth after falling behind Trent Alexander-Arnold in the pecking order at Anfield.

And now, with his time at the club appearing to draw to a close, a host of other sides are preparing to swoop.

The Echo report that Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and West Ham are all keen on securing the services of the experienced defender this summer.

Napoli also enquired about Clyne earlier this summer, but Liverpool have made it clear to any interested parties that a bid of at least £10million would be required to initiate negotiations, and that they’re not afraid to let the defender see out his contract on Merseyside.

It has been suggested that Jurgen Klopp may yet decide to keep Clyne at the club for the 2019/20 season as cover for Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson as he can play in both full-back positions.

Clyne joined Liverpool in 2015 for £12.5million and has been a good servant for the club during his time there.
