Former Red believes Klopp “knows what he wants” in the transfer window

Former Red Mark Wright believes Liverpool will have a quiet transfer window but has tipped Jurgen Klopp to make at least two signings.
The Liverpool boss has so far signed young star Sepp van den Berg and will reportedly secure 16-year-old Harvey Elliot from Fulham, but no senior squad signings have been made just yet.
Wright, however, thinks Klopp knows exactly which kind of player he’s after this summer.

“He knows what he wants,” Wright said, as quoted by the Express. “He’s put a fantastic side together.
“We’ve got a small squad, it’s about keeping them fit. I think it would be nice for all of us on the outside to see some players going in.
“A goal-scoring midfielder might be good and maybe another striker so you can change things around.”
Wright added: “People were talking about Jurgen Klopp saying that he was a nearly man and he needed to win something but he’s won the biggest prize in Europe.
“That stands them in good stead. These players he’s got will be looking forward to this season.
“I don’t think that team needs too much motivation, although the manager is full of enthusiasm. They’ll want to go on and win the league.
“Man City are probably shading it because of the squad depth but Liverpool are putting that right by signing young players.
“Man City had a few injuries to key players, we didn’t have those so we do need to strengthen.”
