Liverpool frustrated by FIFA over Club World Cup plans

FIFA have yet to contact Liverpool with more details about their involvement in the Club World Cup in December, according to the Daily Mail.
It was announced in Paris on June 3 that the Reds would feature in the tournament this winter, which will take place in Qatar.
The competition will begin on December 11 and conclude on December 22.

However, Liverpool have yet to receive concrete information about the tournament, which they will enter at the semi-final stage.
The Reds hierarchy have expressed their frustration with FIFA’s lack of communication on the matter, given that their involvement could seriously impact on their pursuit of the Premier League title.
The Premier League will provide whatever support Liverpool need to help them navigate a potentially tricky fixture period.
