Liverpool’s enthralling and exciting 2018/19 campaign was not just historic but financially rewarding as the Reds earned £152million from TV revenue.

Manchester City was the only other side in Europe to break the £150million mark in terms of revenue earned from TV appearances as the two English sides enthralled the world with their dazzling displays last season.

According to Swiss Ramble, the Reds earned more TV revenue than any other side and this will only go on to further strengthen the Merseysider’s growing reputation as one of the best teams and clubs on the continent.

While Jurgen Klopp might have decided against signing any new players this summer, when the 2020 summer transfer window comes around, the German will have a sizeable kitty to work with.

Mbappe and Klopp.

Fans have taken a fancy to the idea that Liverpool might make a marquee signing next year after not signing a single senior player this summer, with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Kylian Mbappe and Kai Havertz all mentioned as dream signings.

Not only did the Reds make money from transfers this summer, but they have also become flush from TV and commercial revenue earned from their Champions League-winning season.

Whether or not Klopp and Michael Edwards decide to make a major addition to Liverpool’s starting XI in 12 month’s time is a matter of opinion for the time being but what is undeniable is that the current crop of players is bursting with quality and potential.
