Reports claim Isco is unwanted at Real Madrid
AS reports in Spain that Real Madrid won’t buy new players until they make sales and Isco is on the list of those they are open to selling.
Isco has spent a lot of his time with Los Blancos sitting on the bench when his talent deserves to be on show every single week. This season, he has only played 171 minutes in La Liga out of a possible 864.
While he might be unwanted in Madrid, his abilities and style of play would be revered on Merseyside with the former Malaga ace the closest player in style to Philippe Coutinho.
Since selling the Brazilian, the Reds have lost their attacking edge when approaching stubborn defences head-on and while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson have been superb in negating this issue, there are games when someone like Coutinho or Isco come into their own.
Transfermarkt value Isco at €60million (£51.9m) and if Liverpool are keen on signing a quality no.10 like they were in the summer of 2018 with the Fekir Fiasco, Real Madrid’s no. 22 would be the perfect target.
He would add incisive passing, unbelievable dribbling and clinical finishing to the Reds’ midfield and would further show that Liverpool are a side that is capable of attracting and pleasing the best players in the world.
With someone like Isco in midfield, Jurgen Klopp would further stake a claim to have his side considered as the best team in the world ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
