Liverpool fans troll Pep Guardiola and Manchester City
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was visibly furious with referee Michael Oliver during his side’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
The Reds took a huge step towards achieving their dream of winning the Premier League by beating Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday to open up a nine-point gap with their biggest rivals.
In fact, Leicester and Chelsea are now a point closer to the Reds than City are, with the champions sitting in fourth ahead of a difficult festive fixture list and Liverpool will now be hugely confident that their fate rests in their own hands.
After the game, Liverpool fans had a lot of fun making fun of Pep Guardiola and Manchester City as a reaction to the stick they received last season when they were defeated by the Sky Blues at the Etihad.

Never forget that Pep Guardiola spent an entire week trying to play mind games. Called Mané a diver. Pretended that some players were injured. Even put Ederson’s shirt in the dressing room.

Fabinho, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were Liverpool’s goalscorers on the night while Manchester City pulled one back through Bernardo Silva, who was conveniently able to play despite the threat of a six-game ban hanging over his head.
The international break now arrives as the perfect opportunity for Jurgen Klopp to reflect and plan for the next month and a half of football which promises to be more intense than ever.
Several Premier League games, a botched Carabao Cup semi-final and a trip to Qatar for the FIFA Club World Cup await Liverpool over the course of the next eight weeks.
