Former footballer sends the Premier League a warning about Liverpool
Former footballer Gary Lineker was very impressed with how Liverpool’s squad players handled the occasion against Everton at Anfield last night.
Jurgen Klopp made a total of five changes for the Merseyside derby, which saw the likes of Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah rested.
Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and Adam Lallana all got minutes, and they did not disappoint. The Reds were 5-2 victors.
Origi scored twice and Shaqiri scored once to help the Reds secure all three points and go eight points clear of second-placed Leicester City in the Premier League.

Lineker believes it will be difficult for anyone to catch Liverpool if the squad players can continue to put in performances like they did against the Toffees.
“Liverpool showing that they’ll be able to cope with injuries to any of the front three. Really difficult to envisage them not running away with the title this season,” Lineker tweeted.
