Pundit raves over Liverpool forward
Pundit Garth Crooks has given Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah plenty of praise after his performance against Watford on the weekend.
Liverpool defeated the Hornets 2-0 to secure a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League table. Salah was superb on Saturday, which saw the Egyptian score two goals against Nigel Pearson’s side.
Crooks gave his opinion on the BBC Sport website in regards to Salah and how he performed against Watford on the weekend.
“How many chances does a Hornet need to sting its opponent? The visitors had three gilt-edged chances before Liverpool fans had stopped singing You’ll Never Walk Alone,” Crooks wrote.
“Mohamed Salah, who is a genuine finisher, reminded Watford that teams that play at Anfield and don’t take their chances pay the price. Salah’s first goal was sensational and his second was precisely what top-class finishers do.”

Crooks is correct when he talks about how clinical Liverpool are. When you have forwards such as Salah, as the opposition, you need to take your opportunities.
If you don’t, players such as Salah will punish you, which was the case on Saturday for Watford. The Hornets did play well, but they simply lacked end product when it mattered most.
Liverpool simply have the ability to win games even when they are not at their best, and that is due to a player such as Salah.
