Michael Owen answers whether Klopp’s Liverpool is the greatest in the history of the club
Former Red Michael Owen believes that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool is the greatest side in the history of the club.
Klopp’s Liverpool have claimed the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup within the past six months.
Liverpool could also add the Premier League title to the aforementioned list, as Klopp’s side possess a 22-point lead at the top of the table.
Liverpool have only dropped points in one Premier League fixture this season, which was the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford back in October 2019.
As a result of what Klopp’s side have achieved recently, Owen believes that the current Liverpool team deserve to be considered as the greatest side to grace the history of the club.

Owen certainly has a point. No Liverpool team has ever been this consistent. The minute you think they are about to drop points, they find a way to claim all three.
The Premier League title looks a sure thing, and once that is wrapped up, this Liverpool side will be the greatest to have represented the club.
