Video: Man City fan loses it on 5 Live Sport radio call regarding Liverpool’s form

A Manchester City fan has lost his head on BBC 5 Live regarding the form Liverpool have shown this season.

The Citizens, who have claimed the previous two Premier League titles, are currently 22 points behind league leaders Liverpool.

The Reds have only dropped points in one Premier League fixture this season, which was the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford back in October 2019.

Liverpool have accumulated 73 points from 25 Premier League fixtures, which is quite astonishing when you sit back and reflect on it.

However, not everyone has been impressed with what Liverpool have done this season. A Manchester City supporter, who goes by the name of ‘Statman Gary’, believes VAR has benefited Liverpool greatly.

He ultimately believes that it is a key reason why Liverpool are 22 points clear at the top of the table.

‘Statman Gary’ has basically failed to accept Liverpool have been superb this season. Of course VAR has benefited Liverpool from time to time, but it certainly is not the reason why Liverpool are the league leaders.

Liverpool have been building towards this type of season for many years under Jurgen Klopp, and now that it has occurred, rival supporters don’t know how to deal with it.
