Harvey Elliott l reflects as his time with Jürgen Klopp comes to a close.

It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that Sunday will be Jürgen Klopp’s last game as Liverpool manager. The season is over, there’s nothing left to play for except to see off the club’s best manager of the 21st century.

Harvey Elliott got his first team breakthrough with the German, so he has a lot to be grateful for. Now a mainstay in the Liverpool first team, Elliott has made a name for himself in the Premier League under Klopp’s tutelage.

“The gaffer, we can’t thank him enough and it’s the least we can do for him,” Elliott told the official site. “The achievements that he has achieved as a manager and for us as players, the experiences that we have gained, we can never say thank you enough.

“The least we can do is go out and perform for him and put our hearts on the line. He’s given us many opportunities and turned us into men. There’s another game at the weekend but it’s going to be a very emotional one for everyone.”

I hope you’re ready for an emotional afternoon on Sunday, win, lose, or draw for the Reds. Saying goodbye will be hard, as will be facing the uncertainty of this new era in Liverpool’s history.

However, there’s still one last hurrah, and hopefully the Reds will make this final game against Wolves one to remember.
