Liverpool legends join forces with Special Olympics Ireland

Liverpool community coaches joined forces today with Special Olympics Ireland at Larkview FC in Dublin on Friday.
The community coaches, which included Liverpool legends Ian Rush and Jason McAteer, teamed up with the Special Olympics team to teach a series of skill sessions.

Speaking to liverpoolfc.com, Ian Rush said: “Jason and I really enjoyed meeting all the participants and getting involved in coaching sessions with such inspiring youngsters.
“LFC coaches always provide professional, high-quality coaching and ensure that all those involved have fun.”
The day was packed with lots of fun for participants, which saw Rush and McAteer goes behind the posts for penalty kicks, while the Liverpool legend also chatted with the participants and posed for some photos.
