Liverpool Crowned Best Club by VisitFootball for Fourth Year

Anfield continues to provide one of the best experiences in the Premier League

It’s a while before Liverpool have a chance to make another run for the title, but getting named the best club in the Premier League’s VisitFootball Quality Assured Stadium Assessment Scheme for the fourth year running is a pretty nice way to kick off the summer.

Anfield was acknowledged as having the “warmest welcome” to both fans and visitors, and the Reds came first in a number of key categories that guaranteed an excellent experience for fans.

“Anfield is famous all over the world for its unrivalled atmosphere and exceptional matchday experience,” Peter Moore said about the award. “We are extremely proud to be awarded Best Club for the fourth consecutive season.

“It is a fantastic achievement and is a real testament to all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes across the club, to deliver a truly memorable matchday experience that fans will never forget.”

The club recently joined the fight to end period poverty—a lack of sanitary products available to fans who experience periods—by ensuring fans have access to free products in all women’s and accessible toilets throughout the stadium. Campaigns like this one have surely contributed to the stadium providing an inclusive and pleasant experience for all football fans visiting.

Liverpool will kick off the Premier League at Anfield against newly-promoted Norwich City on the 9th of August.
