No concrete Aaron Ramsey interest at this stage

Respected Liverpool journalist James Pearce says he is ‘not aware’ of any Liverpool interest in Aaron Ramsey after rumours emerged on Friday morning.
Ramsey is out of contract in the summer and it appears little progress has been made in the Gunners’ efforts to tie him down to a new deal.
It has been suggested that Liverpool could seek to pounce and pick up the Welshman either on a free transfer next summer or for a cut-price fee in January.
The Reds went into the summer targeting a midfielder with the capacity to score goals and create chances and may be on the lookout for alternatives after a deal for top target Nabil Fekir fell through.
Ramsey found the net on 12 occasions and provided 11 assists across all competitions last season, so might fit the bill.

However, Pearce believes it is pure speculation for the moment, underlining that Liverpool already have plenty of central midfielders at their disposal.
“Not aware of any interest in Ramsey,” he replied when asked in a Q&A if there was any truth to the rumours. “There’s bound to be a lot of speculation about him as he’s down to the final year of his contract but Liverpool are currently well stocked in that department.”
Football transfer expert Ian McGarry says that Liverpool are the latest club to be interested in Aaron Ramsey, who is 'weighing up his options.'

If indeed the club have ended their interest in Fekir and are not keen on Ramsey, they may reignite their pursuit of Christian Pulisic, a youngster Klopp is known to admire.
Pulisic is another who looks to be stalling on a new contract and if he fails to sign a new one this season, Liverpool are expected to make their move.
