Reds duo linked with moves to Turkey

Loris Karius and Ragnar Klavan are both currently the subject of interest from the Turkish Super Lig, according to reports.

The arrival of Alisson Becker has nudged Karius, who has endured a difficult spell at Anfield, down to the second pecking order.

It was reported after the deal for the Brazilian was completed that Karius was considering his future, and Turkish Football believe Besiktas could offer him an exit route.

They claim that the Black Eagles tried to sign David Ospina from Arsenal, but he is now set to join Napoli.

Karius has been identified as an alternative, and Klopp would supposedly allow him to leave if he so desired.

Meanwhile, the same publication report that Ragnar Klavan is high on Fenerbahce’s list of targets.

Liverpool turned down an approach for Klavan from Newcastle on the final day of the Premier League transfer window, but will listen to further offers this month.

Jurgen Klopp understands that the Estonian’s minutes may be limited this season, so he might seek first-team football elsewhere.

The report states that talks between the two clubs are well underway.
