Liverpool linked with move for Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne, just weeks after he scored the goal that condemned the Reds to defeat in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp’s team recorded another victory in the Premier League on Saturday as Mohamed Salah’s solitary goal made the difference at the John Smith Stadium.
The result puts Liverpool joint-top of the league with Manchester City, second only on goal difference, and maintains the Reds’ unbeaten start to the campaign.

But with his forwards often misfiring this season, Klopp has been linked with reinforcements in the upcoming window.
CalcioMercato claim that Klopp is a huge admirer of Insigne and has encouraged the Liverpool board to sanction a move for him.
The 27-year-old striker has scored six goals in eight appearances in Serie A this season and, if the rumours have any substance, it appears Klopp will pursue him sooner rather than later as he seeks to add to his attacking options.
