Wolves leading chase for Divock Origi in January

Wolverhampton Wanderers are leading the chase for Liverpool forward Divock Origi, and are planning a £20million swoop in January, according to the Mirror.
The 23-year-old has fallen down the Anfield pecking order with the resurgent Daniel Sturridge bagging four goals in all competitions so far this season.
Liverpool announced the signing of Origi in January 2014, but immediately loaned him back to Lille for the 14/15 season. The Belgian endured a difficult campaign with the French side, and moved to Merseyside somewhat low on confidence.
His first goals for the club came in a 6-1 victory at Southampton in the League Cup, where he bagged a hat-trick. Later that season, he scored a vital away goal in the draw with Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarter-finals.
His impact has never been deemed decisive enough for Jurgen Klopp though, and Origi was subsequently sent on loan to Wolfsburg for the 2017/18 season.
Despite beginning his time in Germany well, Origi’s form again dipped and he made headlines for missing some excruciating chances for ‘Die Wölfe’ (The Wolves).
Having made only one substitute appearance this season, Origi seems to be heading for the exit doors and reports claim Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on bringing the out of favour forward to the English Wolves.
Since their promotion back to the Premier League, Wolves have picked up four wins, four draws, and four losses, and currently sit 11th.
Despite some impressive results, including draws away at both Manchester United and Arsenal, the Wanderers have lacked fire power this season, and Nuno is keen to bring in the man who has managed a goal every four games with Liverpool despite some heavy competition.
