CONFIRMED: Liverpool starting XI and subs to face Arsenal

Liverpool’s starting XI and subs to face Arsenal in the Premier League have been confirmed by the club’s official social channels.

The Reds have the chance to open up a nine point gap on second-placed Tottenham Hotspur who lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the afternoon, and a ten point gap over Manchester City, who travel to Southampton on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp has made just one change to the team which beat Newcastle United 4-0 at Anfield on Boxing Day, as Fabinho comes in for Jordan Henderson.

Virgil Van Dijk will captain the Reds as they look to make it 20 unbeaten in the Premier League this season, with vice captain James Milner also missing out due to a muscle problem.

The two teams starting XI and subs are listed below for the game which kicks off at 5:30pm and can be viewed on BT Sport.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Mignolet, Clyne, Keita, Henderson, Sturridge, Lallana, Origi.

Arsenal: Leno, Lichtsteiner, Mustafi, Sokratis, Maitland-Niles, Torreira, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Ramsey, Iwobi, Aubameyang.

Subs: Cech, Koscielny, Elneny, Guendouzi, Willock, Saka, Lacazette.
