Crystal Palace interested in loan deal for Dominic Solanke

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke on loan in January, according to the Evening Standard.

Crystal Palace are not the only Premier League side monitoring Solanke’s situation, with the need for goals a premium for a number of teams in England’s top division.

The forward has not made a single competitive appearance under Jurgen Klopp in the 2018-19 campaign thus far, which could potentially allow him to leave Anfield on loan.

Solanke is currently behind Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi for the No.9 role, meaning his chances of getting any opportunity this season are slim.

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have also been interested in the Englishman, although it appears Crystal Palace are the favourites to get his signature at this moment as Roy Hodgson is in need of more goals.
