Danny Murphy believes Liverpool game should be the end for Jose Mourinho
Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy believes Jurgen Klopp’s side have landed the final blow to Jose Mourinho’s time at Old Trafford.
Liverpool defeated Manchester United 3-1 at Anfield yesterday, in what could be argued as the most one-sided clash between the two sides in the Premier League era.
The result put Liverpool top of the league, with Manchester United now 19 points off the pace sitting in sixth.
Mourinho has fallen out of favour with the supporters of the Manchester club, and Liverpool have no doubt only made that worse, which has Murphy wondering why he still has a job.

“I think the level of performance for most of the season has been really poor.
“There is one thing at every football club that dictates the manager’s position and that’s the supporters.
“The fans I’m listening to, it’s got to a point when it used to be a minority that were still backing him, but I think that’s gone now.”
