Liverpool eye summer swoop for £41million Brazilian winger

Liverpool are interested in Barcelona winger Malcom and have made acquiring his signature a top priority for the summer transfer window, according to reports from France.

The Reds have three of the best attackers in Europe but when looking at the bench for reinforcement or added initiative late on in games, the drop off in quality is quite stark.

Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi are leaving the club this summer and Jurgen Klopp is in the market for more quality to provide support for Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

According to Le10Sport – via TeamTalk – Liverpool are ready to make an approach to sign Malcom this summer as the Brazilian finds game time hard to come by at Barcelona.

Klopp is apparently confident that Barca will cash in on Malcom and the German has made signing him a top priority.

While he wouldn’t be a guaranteed starter at Liverpool, his ability to provide competition for a variety of attacking and creative roles would see him granted more opportunities than at Barcelona.
