Ian Wright thinks Sadio Mane “can do everything” at Liverpool

Ian Wright believes Sadio Mane can have the sort of season Mohamed Salah had last year if he can become more consistent.

Mane scored against Fulham on Sunday to take his tally to 20 for the season so far.

And Wright has now thrown down the gauntlet for Mane to hit the sort of form that could see him claim the Golden Boot at the end of the season.

“There’s not much more for him to improve on really,” Wright said.

“Apart from to just consistently, continuously score goals. He’s got better, of course he has.

“The only thing you’d look at him and think, ‘What can he do more?’

“Just go and have a season like Mo Salah had.

“I’m not saying he can totally replicate that kind of goalscoring form Mo had. That’s the only thing left.

“He can do everything. He can defend, he can play centre forward, he can play wing, he can play anywhere.”
