Andy Robertson Would Trade PFA Inclusion For The Title
Everyone knows Andy Robertson has had a phenomenal season. His inclusion in the PFA Team of the Year isn’t a surprise, but Robertson insists that if he could trade the individual achievement for Premier League glory, he would.
“It’s massive achievement to get voted by your fellow peers and I appreciate the season that I have had,” the leftback said. “I am delighted about that and for the other three lads, it’s a fantastic achievement for them, too. But I would swap it for one of trophies we are still fighting for, that’s the type of person I am.
“Of course when I reflect at the end of the season, it will be something I am extremely proud of.”
Andy was asked if he would be watching the Manchester City game on Sunday.
“I’m not going to out my way to watch the game Sunday if I’m doing something with the kids or whatever. It won’t change anything.” He said. “We need them to drop points. We’re at the point of the season where if they win all their games, they win the league, it’s as simple as that.”
”We need to try and get maximum points and hopefully it’s enough, but if it is not then we’ll have to pick ourselves up.”
