Liverpool linked with shock move for Gareth Bale

Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale this summer, according to Eduardo Inda of OKDiario.

It’s no surprise that Real Madrid are actively looking to move Bale on, with the Welshman firmly at odds with Madrid supporters this season.

However, the news that Liverpool could be in for the 29-year-old this transfer window will come as a surprise to many.

Inda stated: “Bale has spent the day playing golf at La Moraleja, and it is very likely that he will reach either of the two finalists in the Champions League, Tottenham or Liverpool.”

Bale joined Madrid in 2013 but has been tipped with a move away, with the La Liga giants hoping to get at least £114million for him.

Given his age, price tag and wage demands, it may be unlikely that Jurgen Klopp would sanction a move for him.

However, the Reds will aim to strengthen this summer in order to keep pace with Manchester City next season, and Bale would represent something of a coup for any club.
