Liverpool linked with move for Paris FC striker

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Paris FC striker Silas Wamangituka, according to reports in Portugal via The Independent.

Wamangituka enjoyed a strong season throughout 2018/19, scoring 11 goals in 32 Ligue 2 matches, helping his side reach the playoffs.

The 19-year-old is also being monitored by Marseille, Braga and Barcelona as the race for his signature hots up.

Liverpool have reportedly scouted the Congolese forward earlier in the season and retain an interest in signing him this summer, with Jornal de Notícias suggesting that the Reds are ready to make an offer in the near future.

Jurgen Klopp is on the lookout for a new forward with Daniel Sturridge set to leave at the end of the month.
