Reds legend completes coaching qualifications

Former Reds captain Steven Gerrard has completed his UEFA Pro Coaching Football qualification following an 18-month course, according to Liverpoolfc.com.

The Rangers manager graduated recently from the course, which was organised by the FA.

Gerrard was among 27 coaches who received the FA’s highest football coaching qualification, awarded at a ceremony held at St George’s Park last night.

The Liverpool legend transitioned into coaching in February 2017 during his time at the Kirkby Academy, after which he was appointed U18s manager for the 2017/18 season.

He went on to take up the role of Rangers boss at the end of the season, where he’s currently working hard on securing new signings to bolster the squad.
