Liverpool reportedly set transfer spending limit on new attacking recruit
Liverpool do not intend to spend more than £20million on a new forward this summer, according to reports today.
Jurgen Klopp is reportedly content with his first-choice attacking options and does not want to disrupt the chemistry between them ahead of next season.
Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have become one of the deadliest attacking trios in the world over the last two seasons, with the latter pair sharing the Premier League Golden Boot with Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the three scored 22 goals each.

However, the Reds boss is aware that reinforcements will be needed by the start of the 2019/20 season, with all three of his main attacking players currently involved in international duty in the Africa Cup of Nations and Copa America.
Liverpool will look to recruit another versatile forward who can play in several positions but will limit their spending to £20million.
Last summer, Xherdan Shaqiri was signed from Stoke City for less than £14million and added quality depth to the squad without dislodging the tried and tested front three.
Divock Origi, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Adam Lallana are also options from the bench, while Rhian Brewster will be introduced into the first-team setup during pre-season.
If Liverpool do move for an attacking player this summer, they will target someone who will be a component of the overall squad rather than a star name to compete with their already world-class forwards.
