Liverpool reportedly join race for Real Madrid midfielder
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos, according to Marca.
The midfielder is reportedly not in manager Zinedine Zidane’s plans for the season ahead and will look for a new club this summer.
The Spanish outlet reports that the Reds are one of several clubs monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation, with Madrid open to selling him.

Jurgen Klopp wants to bolster his squad ahead of the 2019/20 campaign but will not spend heavily this summer, so Ceballos could represent another shrewd investment for the German manager, with Marca suggesting a deal is already being considered to bring the midfielder to Anfield.
Liverpool are reportedly not interested in a loan deal for the Spanish U21 international and want to sign him permanently.
Arsenal and Tottenham are also pursuing him and are said to be further ahead in the race for his signature.
However, the lure of joining the European Champions could sway Ceballos in Liverpool’s direction, should the Reds firm up an offer this summer.
