Liverpool stance on Divock Origi made clear

Liverpool will not allow Divock Origi to leave the club this summer, according to the Echo.
The Belgian scored vital goals in the latter stages of the Reds’ Champions League run to help Jurgen Klopp’s side lift the coveted trophy last month.
As such, a number of clubs are interested in recruiting the striker, with Real Betis among the parties monitoring him this summer.

But in spite of increasing speculation about the forward’s future, Liverpool have no intention of letting Origi leave this year, with Klopp keen to keep the 24-year-old among his attacking options.
The Reds are positive about the likelihood of Origi signing a new contract this summer after holding talks with his representatives.
However, even if a deal can’t be reached, Klopp is prepared to resist any transfer moves for the player and keep him at the club for the 2019/20 season.
Origi is likely to get more opportunities in the Reds lineup at the start of the season with first-choice striker Roberto Firmino returning late to training after taking part in the Copa America.
