Reds midfielder agrees loan deal ahead of 2019/20 season
Marko Grujic is set to extend his loan stay at Hertha Berlin for the 2019-20 season after the club confirmed the deal today.
The midfielder will return to the Bundesliga side for the upcoming campaign, with Liverpool set to earn £2million in loan fees during his time there.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful time with Hertha last season, bagging five goals in 23 appearances.

He turned down offers from Frankfurt and Werder Bremen to return to the German capital, with Atalanta and Brighton also interested in signing him.
Aside from the substantial loan fee, Liverpool could also gain as much as £500,000 in bonuses should Grujic hit certain agreed-upon targets.
Hertha will also cover the Serbian’s wages and will have to pay penalties if he doesn’t receive enough game time at the Olympiastadion.
However, Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants Grujic to remain at Liverpool next season as the club regard him as a potentially-important figure in their midfield.
