Kai Havertz addresses his Leverkusen future

Kai Havertz told German outlet Sportbuzzer that he will stay at Bayer Leverkusen for another year sparking speculation over where he might move.
He said: “I am happy to stay at Leverkusen for one more year. What happens next summer will be experienced in the future.”
Liverpool are interested in signing the prolific German midfielder as Bild claimed in July that Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing the 20-year-old, with Bayer valuing him at around €100million (£90.4m).
The only thing that Liverpool lack currently is a world-class playmaker and while their fullbacks shoulder the responsibility of creating chances for the Salah, Mane and Firmino, having someone like Havertz would further improve them.
The Bayer Leverkusen gem is reminiscent of Frank Lampard, with his ability to time runs from midfield to perfection, with all but one of his 17 goals from last season coming from inside the 18-yard area.
Signing him would require Liverpool to smash their transfer record, with van Dijk the most expensive player in the club’s history after he arrived last year for a huge £75million fee.
With Havertz determined to remain at Bayer Leverkusen for the rest of the season, Klopp should look to agree a Naby Keita-type deal for Havertz in January.
