Watch: Milner and Robertson Discuss Pineapple on Pizza and Well Done Steaks

Proper food blog stuff, this.
It’s international break. The transfer window is officially closed. There’s not much Liverpool-related news these days.
So basically, it was perfect timing for LFCTV to release a second edition of “Everyday Dilemmas” with James Milner and Andy Robertson. Last year, we learned how these two took their tea. This year? Pizza and steak were on the menu.
First off, we’ll start with one of the few mistakes Robertson has made in Red: admitting he likes a well-done steak. After Milly rightfully scoffed at his decision to eat overcooked meat, the self-proclaimed working class hero replied, “It’s how I was raised.” Fair enough, I guess, but come on, mate. You can learn. You can be better.
Then it was on to the somehow controversial pineapple on pizza. Yet again, the two took strong and opposing stances. Milly was quick out of the gates, affirming that he quite liked it. Robbo, on the other hand, was so offended by his teammate’s stance that he mockingly threatened to end the segment right there. They then argued about what constitutes fruit, whether you’d have a pizza without tomatoes, or with oranges.
Robbo redeemed himself slightly from the steak incident by naming The Shawshank Redemption as his all-time favorite film. Milly named Braveheart, and his Scottish teammate couldn’t help but say that line under his breath. You know the one.
At one point it moved on to the age-old question: which came first the chicken or the egg? Here, the lads proved that they are, above all else, footballers. Let me handle this for you: the amniotic egg first evolved over 300 million years ago when early reptiles began colonizing dry land. The birds that would eventually be domesticated into modern chickens evolved around 2 million years ago, with domestication occurring between 8,000 and 10,000 years ago. So the egg came first, and by some distance.
Anyway, if you’re listening Liverpool, please make more videos with these two. It doesn’t matter if they’re ranking biscuits or talking about actually important things like how a steak should be prepared.
