Liverpool reportedly interested in Erling Haaland

Liverpool are interested in signing RB Salzburg star Erling Haaland, according to Calciomercato, but he doesn’t suit the Reds.
The Italian news outlet names Liverpool, Manchester United, Spurs and Juventus as the interested parties but when you look at Jurgen Klopp’s side, the Norwegian is hardly the perfect fit for his side.
Signing the 19-year-old would require a significant tactical switch to be of any worth to the Reds but in reality, it’s more likely to be total BS and just headline fodder after Salzburg faced Liverpool last week.
The Anfield outfit chose to pass up on signing Nicolas Pepe after it became clear Lille wanted serious money for his signature and the Ivorian would have been the ideal fourth name for Jurgen Klopp to call on in attacking areas.
Haaland seems like a very talented player but he is almost certain to not be in any of Liverpool’s transfer plans purely based on his style of play.
