Real Madrid make contact with Liverpool forward

Real Madrid have reportedly made contact with Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, according Le10Sport.
The Spanish giants are likely to sell both Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez come the end of the season. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is looking to revitalise his squad, and departures of certain players will open up room for new signings.
Real Madrid have had a poor season in front of goal. In terms of the league, only Karim Benzema has been able to hit double figures in the goal department.
The French publication states that Mane is a key target in regards to Real Madrid’s transfer business come the summer, with contact having been made between the Spanish club and Mane’s representatives.
Despite this being the case, it would be extremely difficult for the Spanish giants to secure the Senegal international.

Mane, 27, is contracted at Anfield until 2023. That ultimately means he would cost Real Madrid a massive sum in the transfer market.
Liverpool have not suggested they are interested in selling the player, either. Mane appears happy at Anfield, as he made comment on Jurgen Klopp signing a new managerial deal until 2024 for the other day.
Mane has every reason to be happy on Merseyside. The Reds are 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table with two games in hand.
He has won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup since arriving at the club back in the summer of 2016.
It would be a massive surprise to many if he indicated he wanted a move to Real Madrid come the end of the season.
