Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson host this year’s FIFA update video, and it’s a good laugh.

By any objective measurement, Liverpool have two of the best fullbacks in the world in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson. The latest edition of FIFA agrees with this assessment, giving both fullbacks an impressive rating of 87. After the two players traded some banter about the individual stats: pace, shooting, dribbling, and defending, they turned the tables on their teammates.

Appropriately enough, the first two players to make an appearance were fellow defenders Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk. Van Dijk, host of last year’s FIFA update video, was also rightfully named the highest-rated defender in the game.

From there, the lads brought in new signing and Trent’s real-life FIFA rival, Diogo Jota, goalkeeper Alisson Becker, the captain Jordan Henderson, and midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Laughs and friendly banter were had throughout the video. Alisson was pleased with his 90 rating, but vowed to improve next campaign.

Hendo appreciated his 86 rating, but openly questioned why he was an 83 in last year’s edition. He also wasn’t impressed with his 65 pace. Fair enough, captain. You’re a 100 in our books, no doubt.

The video ended on a bit of a sad note, with Ox being downgraded to a 79. We all hope you get healthy and prove the haters wrong, Ox. We still love you!

Anyway, if you have a spare 8 minutes, this video is a joy to watch.
