Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain provides update on injury

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has provided an update on the knee injury he sustained during Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final first leg clash with Roma at Anfield back in April.

The Englishman was in some seriously good form for the Reds after he made the move from Arsenal, but it all came to an end when Roma came to town, and it ended his dream of playing in a Champions League final.

“Yeah it’s alright,” Oxlade Chamberlain told the FA’s YouTube channel.

“Saw the surgeon just now. He’s happy with everything so we’re moving in the right direction.

“It’s just going to be a long process, a boring one but that’s life.”

It has been predicted Oxlade-Chamberlain will make a return later this year in November.
