Liverpool in “pole position” to sign Bernd Leno

Liverpool are in “pole position” to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s goalkeeper Bernd Leno, according to Bild.

The Reds are reportedly lining up a £20million move for the shot-stopper after it was reported that the club were priced out of a move for the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Leno is seen as a cheaper alternative and has been told by Bayer Leverkusen he is welcome to leave. Although, that is after the German outfit sign his replacement.

Arsenal and Napoli are also interested in the shot-stopper, but Liverpool remain in pole position.
