Klopp confirms situations regarding individuals returning for pre-season

Jurgen Klopp has given some clarity regarding when certain individuals will return for the pre-season that is currently underway.
Many key members of the squad are currently away as they recover from what has been a long season for both club and country.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Marko Grujic will return to pre-season for the tour of the USA, which begins next Saturday.
“That’s the start for them,” Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com when asked if Salah, Mane and Grujic were going to be included for the squad that tours America.
“They had their holiday and then they’ll come with us to the USA. They only had three weeks’ holiday so it means they didn’t lose too much.
“We have to see how they present and then we’ll see if they can play in the games. They will be there. And then the last group [of World Cup players] comes much later.”

Roberto Firmino on the other hand will begin pre-season when Liverpool head to France for a training camp at the end of the month.
“Bobby will be in for the second camp,” Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com.
“Then we have the English guys, Simon [Mignolet] and Dejan [Lovren] will come another week later – we’ll already be back from France and will have exactly one week to prepare the game [against West Ham United]. That’s no problem.”
